OperoIQ

Stop being the 2am helpline for your own business.

Your handbook, your checklists, your incident reports — in one chat your staff actually use.

Front of house · Saturday 7:42pm
A guest says they have a peanut allergy.
Tell the guest you'll check with the kitchen before they order. Flag the allergy on the ticket and tell the chef directly — do not rely on the ticket alone. Our pad thai, satay and the brownie contain peanuts; the fryer oil is shared. If a reaction starts, call 911 first, then the manager.

Ask a question…

Sample handbook content. Answers come from your handbook, with the section shown.

The binder nobody reads

New staff, same questions, forever. The closer, the 5am opener, the crew on a job site — working without a manager nearby, texting you things the handbook already answers. Or worse, guessing.

How it works

  1. 1

    Import your handbook

Upload the PDF you already have, or write it in the built-in builder. Answering questions in about 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Staff ask in chat

Plain language, on their phone. They get the right answer from your handbook — with the section it came from.

  3. 3

    You get proof

Every checklist run and incident report is logged, timestamped, and tamper-evident. A paper trail when it matters.

What your staff get

Ask anything — from your handbook

Answers come only from your own handbook, with the source cited every time. If something isn't covered, it says so and points staff to a manager. It never guesses.

Run the checklists

Opening, closing, cash-out, and custom checklists. Staff complete them in the chat; issues get flagged to managers; every run is logged.

File the incident reports

A guided chat interview instead of a blank form. The result is an immutable record, plus a working copy of the compliance form you define.

See what's really happening

A weekly scorecard of questions asked, what was answered instantly, and the gaps to fill. Reports on the operation — never on individual staff.

Two things worth seeing

It knows what it doesn't know

When your handbook doesn't cover something, it says so and flags the gap for a manager. It never invents policy.

Night shift · 2:06am
Can I give a refund in cash if the customer paid by card?
That isn't covered in your handbook. Please speak to your manager — and consider adding a section for it so the team has an answer next time.

From a 2-minute chat to a filed report

Incidents are reported through a guided interview, not a blank form. Out comes a tamper-evident record and a working copy of the form you define.

The questions your staff actually ask

Every business loads its own handbook, so the answers are yours. Here's the kind of thing staff type in.

  • Someone wants to freeze their membership, how?
  • The pool chemical alarm is going off.
Restaurants
  • A guest says they have a peanut allergy.
  • My drawer is over by $40.
  • Power's out, what about the walk-in?
Warehouses
  • There's a spill in aisle 12, what do I do?
  • Conveyor jammed, can I clear it?

Questions owners ask

Is this just ChatGPT with my handbook pasted in?
No. ChatGPT will happily guess and invent policy, cites nothing, and keeps no record. OperoIQ answers only from your handbook, shows the section, refuses to answer when it isn't covered, and logs everything.
Where do the answers come from?
Only from the handbook sections you've loaded for your business. When staff ask something that isn't there, they can request an answer — a manager answers once and it becomes a permanent entry.
Is my data private?
Every business's data is fully isolated from every other's. Confidential incidents are visible only to the people you designate and never leave the app.
Does my staff need a company email?
No. Owners invite staff from the app; there's no per-seat pricing and nothing to install.
